I have always loved photography, especially astrophotography. Many of my earlier Moon photos were taken by holding an iPhone up to a small 6-inch reflector telescope on a fine-motion equatorial mount. Even without a dedicated DSLR, that setup let me capture some surprisingly detailed lunar images and helped me learn the basics of focusing, framing, and processing. I later added a ZWO SeeStar S50 smart telescope to my setup, which made deep-sky imaging much more accessible. I have used it with a Leftfoto leveling base, and it has been a great step up for capturing objects beyond the Moon. More recently, I moved into a more advanced astrophotography setup with an Askar 60F refractor, a cooled ZWO ASI585MC Pro astronomy camera, guiding equipment, and a GoTo equatorial mount. This setup gives me much more control over imaging, tracking, calibration frames, and post-processing, and I am excited to keep improving my results as I learn more.

3. The Moon

The highest quality image of the moon that I have so far. This depicts a half moon with the shadow in the bottom right. My first image of a lunar eclipse!
